It's been a while since I last did an update so I thought I'd let you hear some news and show you some more images from the book.
First off my first published comic strip is out next week on the 10th of April in Athletics Weekly. The strip is the relaunch of DC Thomson classic and well loved character Alf Tupper, The Tough of the Track. So if you can pick up a copy and let me know what you think.
Also later this year I'll have several stories out in Anthologies from two GrayHaven books, Addiction and Faith, which look at sports addiction and the search to understand the meaning of faith. My third Anthology piece is with Ninth Art Press in their Sub-culture Anthology and will look at the subculture of track athletes from sprinters, distance runners and jumpers and throwers.
Now onto The Art of Running, the book is going really well and we about half way through with the art and have had some brilliant guest artists come and work on the book doing chapter covers, showing their amazing styles which will really stand out in contrast to Sigit's fantastic art work which fills the rest of the book. Below is an image of one of the covers along with a couple images from the book.
This is the website for The Art of Running: The Steve Prefontaine Story, a graphic novel about the Legendary US runner Steve Prefontaine. The Kickstarter campaign to produce this amazing graphic novel will be up soon but for now, read about Steve Prefontaine and the writer of the graphic novel and have a sneak peek of some of the wonderful artwork.
